
1. Terms
“the Hirer” means the customer as notified when ordering and may additionally include the person who ordered the service.
“the Company” means Vonith Limited t/as Grab Hire Bolton.
2. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the material that is to be collected by the Company is suitable for the Grab Wagon in both size and waste type.
We will discuss your requirements with you when you place your order but please bear in mind that we will not be able to inspect the waste prior to arriving on site and it is therefore your responsibility to ensure that it is not contaminated with other waste streams or of a size that the wagon cannot safely lift it. We do not accept responsibility for any advice given by any employee of the Company that you may choose rely on.
The Driver reserves the right to refuse to collect the waste if he believes it to be contaminated/ dangerous and any costs incurred due to wasted journeys will be passed on to the Hirer.
Additional charges may be levied.
3. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure that our driver has suitable access when he arrives to collect the waste. Wasted journeys caused by a failure to provide access will incur a wasted journey charge.
4. The Company cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage whatsoever that may be caused if the Hirer requests the Company’s driver to take his vehicle off the Public Highway to collect waste in a location requested by the Hirer or its representative(s). The Company will not be held responsible for any damage caused to person or property once the vehicle leaves the public highway, where requested as above.
5. Sale of Materials
All materials are sold on the basis that the quality, weight or quantity is as verified and agreed when signed for on site.
Risk in the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery. Title shall remain with the Company until the goods have been paid for and all moneys owing to the Company have been paid in full.
6. Requests to Cancel the Order
It is solely the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure the suitability of the waste stream and access for the wagon. Any advice given by any employee of the Company is followed at the Hirer’s own discretion.
If you wish to cancel the order altogether after the driver has set off we reserve the right to charge a fee for the wasted journey.
If you double book and we arrive to find that you have another Company on site we reserve the right to charge a wasted journey fee.
If you are paying by cash there is no additional fee for cancellations notified prior to despatch. However, we do have various administration costs that we cannot avoid for cancelled orders where payment is made electronically or by card.
The standard fee will be deducted from the amount refunded to you if you choose to cancel your order after payment has already been processed.
7. Please note that calls will be recorded for the following purposes, Training and Quality, Meeting Regulatory Requirements, Maintaining Evidence of Business Transactions and Prevention or Detection of Crime or Fraud.
8. If you do not pay for the service that we have provided within the agreed time period and no dispute has been notified we reserve our right to take legal action for recovery of the amount due. If we have to resort legal action, you will be liable for any and all costs including interest, legal fees and Court fees incurred.
9. General
a). This website is the property of Vonith Ltd and is directed at UK residents only.
b.) Your use of this website is confirmation that you have understood and agreed to be bound by all of these terms and conditions.
c.) Due to the nature of the software and the Internet, no guarantee is given of uninterrupted or error free access to or running of this website or the information-transactions conducted through it. the Company shall not be liable for any failure in processing your details due to software or Internet errors or unavailability, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
d.) The Company makes no warranty that this site is free from errors, defects or viruses.
e.) Whilst the Company have no obligation to update this site, we will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on this website is complete, accurate and up-to-date, but representations or warranties are made (express or implied) as to the accuracy or completeness of such information.
f.) The Company cannot accept any responsibility (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or any action taken in reliance on, any information appearing on this website or any other website to which it may be linked.
